Matteo Guendouzi Joins Marseille: Latest Transfer News
Matteo Guendouzi has completed his move to Marseille, with the midfielder joining the club on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season.
The Frenchman is set to make his debut in the Ligue 1 fixture against Lyon on Saturday, and will be hoping to make an impact at the Stade Vélodrome.
Guendouzi's signing comes as a surprise given that he had been linked with moves to several other clubs in Europe, including Manchester United and Chelsea.
However, Marseille manager Rudi Garcia believes that the 22-year-old can help to improve the team's midfield,Bundesliga Tracking and that he will have the opportunity to prove himself at the top level.

The move also marks a return to Marseille for Guendouzi, who played for the club between 2015 and 2017 before moving to Arsenal.
