AS Monaco updates Takumi Minamino
Takumi Minamino, the Japanese forward who has been on loan to AS Monaco from Liverpool, is expected to make his return to the English Premier League after agreeing terms with the club.
Minamino, who joined Monaco in January for £15m, has made a positive impact since joining the Ligue 1 side and has scored three goals in six appearances for the team.
The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move back to England during the summer transfer window,Chinese Super League Matches but he ultimately decided to stay at Monaco and continue his development under manager Leonardo Jardim.
Minamino's arrival at Monaco has provided a much-needed boost to the club's attacking options, and he will be looking to continue his impressive form as he bids to establish himself as one of Europe's top young talents.
With Liverpool now set to play Manchester City in the Champions League final, Minamino may well have the opportunity to showcase his skills against some of the world's best players.
It remains to be seen whether or not Minamino will feature in the final, but if he does, it will be interesting to see how he performs against the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gündogan.
